The wear resistance of alumina ceramics is the same as that of corundum, reaching Mohs hardness level 9, and the wear resistance is comparable to that of superhard alloys. The heat resistance of alumina ceramics has the characteristics of small thermal expansion coefficient, high mechanical strength and good thermal conductivity. At the same time, alumina is widely used in mechanical parts used under high temperature conditions due to its excellent high temperature performance (up to 1700℃).
